 Council Committees

Clackamas River Basin Council Volunteer Committees The Clackamas River Basin Council welcomes citizen participation on it's Fish and Wildlife, Land Use and Outreach and Education committees. Committees typically meet every other month during council meetings and on an as needed basis. Fish and Wildlife
The Fish and Wildlife Committee helps prioritize, plan and implement streamside restoration projects. The committee works with volunteers and oversees council monitoring efforts of water quality, invasive plants and fish and wildlife.

Land Use
The Land Use Committee reviews proposed land use code changes and enforcement, reviews permit applications that may adversely affect the health of the watershed, recommends and coordinates Council response or comment to permit applications and participates in community planning efforts.

Outreach and Education
The outreach and education committee provides input and feedback on publications and communications, helps plan and conduct special events like educational tours, river clean-ups and watershed celebrations and facilitates community input on watershed assessments and action planning.
